Understanding the DD & Mi Via Waivers
New Mexico offers two key Medicaid waiver programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. ADID Care is proud to serve participants in both programs.
🔵 DD Waiver (Developmental Disabilities Waiver)
The New Mexico DD Waiver is a Medicaid-funded Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver that provides supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are selected through a person-centered planning process.

🌟 Mi Via (Self-Directed) Waiver
Mi Via is New Mexico's self-directed waiver option that gives participants and their families the flexibility to hire their own workers, manage their own budgets, and choose the supports that best meet their needs.
