To all ADID Care Staff, Clients, and Stakeholders.
RE: COVID-19
New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has confirmed preliminary positive cases of COVID-19 here in New Mexico.
The safety and wellbeing of our Individuals we serve as well as Staff and all Stakeholders continues to be our main concern.
ADID Care staff have been instructed and trained to follow all Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines in cleaning and disinfecting homes. All visitors are required to fill out a NMDOH Visitor Screening Tool as well as a Visitor Sign in. Staff will direct all visitors to wash their hands with soap and water upon visitation.
I ask if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sneezing) to NOT visit our Individuals. This is incredibly important, and staff have been instructed to politely ask anyone experiencing these symptoms to postpone their visit. Please contact NMDOH COVID-19 Hotline at 1-855-600-3453 if you are experiencing any symptoms.
ADID Care will continue to follow all NMDOH, DDSD, and CDC guidelines and recommendations.
The health and safety of our clients and staff has always been paramount to us and will continue to be so.
Thank you,
Emad Elmaoued, Director. ADID Care

RE: COVID-19 Second Update
As we all continue in our issue with the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to update everyone on the latest news.
DDSD and NMDOH has recommended all Customized Community Support (CCS) Programs be closed beginning Monday March 16, 2020 to April 5, 2020. This does coincide with closures of all public schools in New Mexico. ADID Care will, effective Friday April 13th, 2020, temporarily close its CCS program until April 5th, 2020 or unless otherwise specified by DDSD and NMDOH.
Staffing ratios will be maintained during this time and any Individual who receives individualized CCS services will continue to receive that in home.
To our Case Manager, Therapists, and any other Visitors; ADID Care is opening up WiFi services in all the homes to you. This will allow any visits to occur via video call as mentioned by DDSD. Please contact the Service Coordinator for more information. The Individuals in the home do have final say on who they would like to visit them and ADID Care will respect their right to choose.
I would like to also take a moment to stress that everything is being done out of an abundance of caution. Some of the Individuals we serve are immunocompromised or at higher risk and the best way to fight COVID-19 is to prevent its transmission.
ADID Care will continue to follow all NMDOH, DDSD, and CDC guidelines and recommendations. Updates, full CDC guidelines, as well as more information can be accessed at www.adidcare.com/covid19.
Thank you
Emad Elmaoued, Director. ADID Care
